An artist must have knowledge in order to create good artwork. They must also have some understanding of the basic fundamentals to make their artwork the best it can be. Understanding the elements of art and how to use them is crucial.

In this day and age, more and more artists are moving to the digital realm to express their art and excel their careers.

Briefly covering various programs and design techniques that are used in the Design Industry such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, students of this course will examine form and content of various media types, adopting their favorite design ideas and methods for their own work.

This course also investigates the design and creation of fine-art composites that involve the combinations of techniques, texture, drawing, painting, photography, and objects, and emphasizes the computer as an art tool.

Possibilities for collaboration with other disciplines will be encouraged throughout the course.
